Joycelyn didn’t bother looking at Cecilia’s furious face, her anger barely contained. With her backpack on, she walked toward the classroom. 

Sandra bounced along beside her like a little bunny, full of energy. As the two of them walked through the campus, they couldn’t help but catch the eyes of the students around them. 

Joycelyn exuded an air of grace and tranquility, her presence as pure and delicate as an orchid blooming in a quiet valley. Fresh and elegant, neither too seductive nor overly showy, she gave off a vibe of being untouched by the world, unique and unearthly. 

Since being doted on by Ellison, she had gained more confidence. Though she was already 26, she had never looked more beautiful. 

It was said that love made one blossom like a flower. Joycelyn now surpassed even flowers in her beauty. 

Sandra, on the other hand, was dressed in a soft green dress with her hair neatly styled into a cute bun, the hem of her skirt fluttering as she moved, the little bells tinkling. Full of life and energy, every move she made exuded her playful and adorable charm. 

While their styles differed, both were beautiful in their own unique ways. 

“Hey, excuse me, can we get to know each other? How about adding me on WhatsApp?” A handsome, sunny–looking guy bravely approached them, holding out his phone with his WhatsApp QR code displayed. 

It was said that the brave enjoyed the world first. But this guy’s luck wasn’t so great. He’d run into Joycelyn and her sidekick, Sandra. 

“I’m married, sorry. It’s not convenient,” Joycelyn said calmly, turning down the young man.

which had been filled with admiration, lost a little of their luster, and he turned to look at Sandra instead. 

“I’m single! But just so you know, I’m really good at throwing punches. If you take a hit from me, I’ll add you. What do you say?” Sandra clenched her tiny fist, smiling sweetly, two little dimples appearing on her cheeks. 

The guy thought, “This cute little girl hitting me? It’ll be like a light tickle. 

“Sure,” he said, without hesitation. 

“Just don’t hit too hard,” Joycelyn warned softly, stepping back. 

“Got it.” Sandra blew on her small fist and prepared. The guy was still grinning, clearly enjoying the attention from Sandra. 

Sandra gave him a mischievous grin. She had originally planned to give him a punch but worried she might hurt him, so she changed her mind. Instead, she spun around in place. 

Under the sunlight, the green skirt she wore created a graceful arc as the accessories on her hair and waist fluttered and jingled. The guy’s eyes widened in surprise, completely entranced by Sandra’s adorable, playful display. 

But in the blink of an eye, this cute girl suddenly grabbed him by the collar and effortlessly hurled him toward a nearby tree branch, where he ended up dangling. He flew through the air. 

“Oh wow,” Joycelyn exclaimed, completely stunned by the scene. 

She had heard Ellison talk about how Sandra was incredibly strong, strong enough to take on ten people, but she hadn’t fully grasped it until now.

Watching Sandra toss him up like that, leaving him hanging from a tree, left joycelyn speechless. 

Not just Joycelyn, but the onlookers around them were equally shocked, their mouths hanging open.

Cecilia, who had been fuming, was just about to step forward but immediately turned around and hurried off in the other direction, clearly terrified that Sandra might decide to toss her up there too. 

“Sir, how does it feel? Next time you want to tease a girl, I’ll send you up to the sky, Sandra said, hands on her hips, smiling sweetly at the guy from under the tree. 

The guy, completely terrified, nodded repeatedly, panicked, “I won’t do it again! I swear I won’t?” He was practically crying, still hanging from the tree. 

“Good boy,” Sandra said with a playful wink. As the stunned crowd looked on, Sandra linked arms with Joycelyn, and the two of them walked toward the classroom. 

“Joycelyn, from now on, you can do whatever you want in this school. No one will dare to mess with you, Sandra said with a mischievous grin, her bright eyes sparkling like stars. 

Joycelyn silently gave her a thumbs–up. “Awesome.” 

When Joycelyn entered the classroom, she chose a seat by the window. As soon as she sat down, Liam followed behind her and entered. 

“Good morning, Joycelyn,” Liam said, adjusting his black–framed glasses. His personality was rather reserved, and when he greeted Joycelyn, he couldn’t quite bring himself to look her in the eyes. 

“Good morning,” Joycelyn replied politely. 

Sandra, sitting beside her, was scrolling through her phone, looking at a picture that Ellison had sent her. 

After comparing the pictures, her gaze slowly turned into a playful, yet fierce glare directed at Liam. The hostility was clear. 

Joycelyn noticed Sandra’s sulking face and quickly reached into her bag, pulling out some leftover candies from yesterday. She placed them in front of Sandra. “Not happy? Eat a couple of these, and let’s be good in class, okay?” 

Joycelyn was trying to comfort Sandra like she would a little kid. 

“Okay, as long as he doesn’t come near you, I’ll be good. If he dares to come close, then we’ll see,” Sandra said, her tone playful but firm. 

Following Ellison’s instructions, as long as she didn’t hurt his brain, she was free to handle Liam however she pleased. 

Liam wasn’t the type to be outspoken. With Joycelyn surrounded by a girl, he hesitated to offer the two cups of coffee he’d bought. Instead, he kept them for himself. 

Liam had been brought in as a special teaching assistant, a position Ruby had arranged for him to stay close to Joycelyn. With the White Group facing a major crisis, Liam, being one of the core members of the lab, was supposed to be under investigation.
