Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny (Quintessa and Tyrone) novel Chapter 335

A group of people, each with their own thoughts.

Serena cheerfully waved at Alexander. “Bro, come over here! I’ve saved you a seat next to me. Sit next to me, and later you can help me pick out fish bones.”

“Oh, for heaven’s sake, you’re all grown up but still acting like a child. How busy is your brother be with work? Eat by yourself,” Mrs. Harrington chided her daughter, but her eyes betrayed affection. Her children were her pride and joy.

Serena pouted and coquettishly said, “No. I want my brother to pick out fish bones for me. After all, he’s the one who spoils me.”

Alexander smiled and ruffled Serena’s hair before taking his seat.

Tyrone gestured for the waiter to serve Quintessa a glass of freshly squeezed watermelon juice. “Here, drink this.”

Quintessa nodded and sipped her juice, seemingly oblivious to the family of three.

Tyrone gently stroked Quintessa’s silky hair and asked Alexander, “So, what’s been keeping you busy lately? Haven’t seen you around much.”

Alexander looked up with a complicated expression. “Took on a case, and I’ve been running around.”

Ever since Serena’s coming-of-age party, the two hadn’t been in touch. The childhood friends now seemed to have a rift between them.

Tyrone faced Alexander without a hint of guilt.

Nydia, in an attempt to regain her dignity and presence, chimed in, “With a top-notch lawyer like our cousin here, I bet you must be dealing with major cases. Any interesting stories? I’m currently looking for some inspiration.”
