Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny (Quintessa and Tyrone) novel Chapter 377

Every time Mrs. York and Mrs. Harrington crossed paths these days, sparks flew.

Just the sight of Mrs. York’s self-righteous, smug expression made Mrs. Harrington's skin crawl.

Mrs. Harrington was visibly shaking; Serena was beside her, with tears streaming down her face in worry, while Alexander just felt his headache intensify.

In a cold voice, Alexander said, “Mom, enough, please leave. I’m fine, I’ll be discharged first thing in the morning.”

Serena nodded vigorously, “Exactly, Mom, let’s go. If we don’t leave, Alex and the rest won’t be able to rest. Dad’s flight tonight is almost home; let’s head back.”

Serena tugged at Mrs. Harrington’s arm.

With clenched teeth, Mrs. Harrington said, “I won’t stoop to your level, darling, let’s go.”

Mrs. Harrington huffed and, taking Serena with her, left.

Serena looked back at Mrs. York, stopped, and bowed slightly, “Auntie, let’s go together. You and my mom have been on good terms for so many years. Maybe my mom spoke out of turn because she was upset. I really hope you two can talk things out.”

Mrs. York hesitated. She did want to say something to Mrs. Harrington.

She glanced at Tyrone and Quintessa, “I’m leaving, you two okay here?”

Tyrone wrapped an arm around Quintessa, “Don’t worry, what could possibly happen? I’m here.”

Mrs. York chuckled, “Just try not to get kicked out.”
