Tyrone wasn't about to give Alexander any chance to get close to Quintessa; he seized every opportunity to make Alexander lose hope.
The three of them sat on a couch, deeply engrossed in a card game.
As expected, Tyrone won the first round, with Quintessa finishing last.
Rubbing his hands together, Tyrone chuckled, "Since I'm the winner, I won't hold back."
Quintessa rolled her eyes at him.
Tyrone asked, "There's something I've been wanting to ask you. That night we spent together, did you ever think of me over the past three years?"
"Not once," Quintessa replied bluntly.
Tyrone gritted his teeth, feeling like he had just humiliated himself, "Not even once?"
After a brief pause, Quintessa nodded, "Well... there was one time..."
Eagerly, Tyrone asked, "What was it?"
Quintessa, stroking her chin, said, "I was thinking, if I had known it would end up with us together, I should've made my move sooner. Maybe if I had spent a few more nights with you three years ago, it would've driven Rachel insane."
Fuming, Tyrone clenched his teeth, while Alexander's lips twitched slightly.
Regaining his composure, he laughed, "Right, absolutely... You should've made your move sooner. It's a shame, really."
Quintessa's lips twitched, acknowledging Tyrone's shamelessness.
