Enemies Become Mates novel Chapter 19

I put on my hoodie and grabbed the car keys. I don't feel like taking my child to the party. What if it gets wrecked somehow. Then I would cry and a car would be safer considering the crazy night. Who knows what these drunk teenager would do.

As I drove I couldn't help but be a bit grumpy. Had to pause the movie at the good part, and now I have to step outside. It was even a bit cold too. Hell the party was a bit far, a 15 minute drive. Ok that's pretty short, but here me out its like way passed 11. I'm like a grandma, I like to sleep at a nice respectful time.

When I did arrive at the party I was immediately put off. It was overly crowded, there was people partying outside, loud music filling my ears. Then that awful stench of alcohol and bodily sweat, curse this werewolf nose. I grabbed my phone to call Jay and guess what this fool didn't do? Answer the phone. I gritted my teeth and turned off the car.

I left the car and entered the party, and I think I became a tad bit deaf. I couldn't even hear my own thoughts. I was getting pushed around as I tried to get through the sea of bodies. I was slightly getting annoyed and started to focus on Jay's scent. When I did manage to pick it up, I started to follow it. What is this man doing now that he can't answer my phone call?

I ended up going upstairs and down the hall stopping at a door. I banged on the door and seconds later it opened up. Jay was in there with some girl and I think my eye twitched in annoyance. I held up his wallet and proceeded to throw it at him and it hit his face.

"You owe me 100 now." I jabbed my finger on the side of his head.

"Ouch! Ok! Ok! Here!" He handed me a 100 dollar bill and I smiled in a tad bit of happiness. I grabbed the door knob preparing to close it.

"Carry on what you were doing." I smiled at both of them and closed the door.

I securely put the money in my wallet and started to make me way out of the party. When I ascended the steps it seemed like more people got inside of the house. I prepared myself mentally and physically.

Let's push these people out the way Cassie.
