"Y-You just?!" He stuttered.
"I had no choice?" I said like it was the most obvious thing on earth.
"Still you act-"
"We have a meeting to attend!" This time I was the one who dragged him to the meeting room.
Every pack leader was in the room seated at their appropriate seat. I took my seat next to my dad and Elliot sat across from me. Ace was sitting next him and I never wanted to stab my eye out so bad. My dad took notice of Ace and he tugged on my arm.
"I should've warned you, I'm sorry." My dad said.
"It's fine, what's done is done." I responded.
Once everyone was seated the meeting started. The usual talk that belongs with the packs maintaining order and peace. I had to talk about the hunter situation and I felt like majority of the leaders were about to clown me about it. Being the only girl here there were trying intimidate me, but little did they know I'm batshit crazy myself. I explained the situation and said I'll take care of it. After all I always complete my mission.
"Now Mr. O'Connor you have a new member I see." My dad spoke and Elliot's dad nodded his head.
"Yes Ace has joined my pack. As we all know the incident that happened 4 years ago, with his parents betrayal and uprising. Since he was a kid, and under his parents influence, we decided that he would be allowed to join my pack." Mr. O'Connor explained.
"That's it? He just joins your pack?" I spoke up. Everyone eyes were on me, but this was a serious question.
"He is under strict supervision as a caution and if anything is suspicious about him we agreed to dispose of him." He said firmly.
"Ok fair enough. But what was the deciding factor that made you think he can be apart of your pack?" I instigated further. I felt Ace intense gaze on me and I ignored it.
"Ace gave us useful information about the Black Moon Pack, they are planning a war. His parents are involved and he decided to go against them. He came to my pack for aid." He further explained.
"So he still betrays people I see." I smiled towards Ace sarcastically.
"Cassie." My dad mumbled and I decided to keep my mouth shut. Even if he betrayed the suppose pack he was in, who knows if it's just a lie.
"I swear I'm loyal to this pack, I'm tired of getting manipulated." I listened in on his heartbeat and it was slow and steady. I still don't believe him though.
The meeting continued on afterwords while I had the most bitter taste in my mouth.
