Lukas’s eyes darkened, and a hint of gloom flashed in his eyes. “Dad, why are you saying this?” 

Cillian snorted lightly, “On the side of the Morning Light Jewelry Competition, they invited me to be a judge. Today, with nothing to do, I looked through some of the competition drafts. Unexpectedly, I came across the design draft from your company, the one bry 

Skylar.” 

“You helped her gain fame before, assisted her in the lawsuit, and even brought her to your company. I thought the was a talented person, but it turns out she’s just a mediocre imposter. Look at the designs she drew. Honestly, with this level, she won’t even pass the first round. Your judgment of people still needs improvement.” 

Lukas’s eyebrows furrowed deeply. He had seen most of Skylar’s design drafts. She was not someone who did things half heartedly each of her designs was full of creativity. 

But considering his father’s status and position, he wouldn’t randomly accuse an unknown designer.

He said, “Dad, could you take a picture of Skylar’s design draft and send it to me for a look? 

Cillian’s tone was not very pleasant, “Why? Do you think I, your dad, would falsely accuse her?” 

Lukas sighed, “No, I just want to take a look.” 

“Since you’re so insistent, I will let you see it clearly,” Cillian’s tone turned a bit sharp. 

Lukas helplessly sighed, “Dad, thank you.” 

Cillian snorted, “You don’t have to thank me. It would be better if you come home more often. Your brother will also be back in the country after a while. Come home, so your mom won’t keep complaining about your lack of filial piety to her.” 

Thinking of his mother, Lukas’s expression softened a bit, “All right, I’ll come home when I have time.” 

After ending the call, it didn’t take long for Cillian to send the pictures.

Hearing footsteps behind me, I turned around and saw Lukas. “Oh, Mr. Strakovski, you’re awake,” I said. 

Hearing this, Lukas’s mood inexplicably turned sour, and he frowned, “What do you mean? Do you think I woke up too late?” 

I looked innocent, “Mr. Strakovski, how could you think that? I was just asking casually.” I said. 

Lukas’s expression didn’t soften, “I don’t think you were asking casually. Besides, the reason I woke up so late was all because of 

you.” He said. 

I was taken aback, instantly recalling what happened last night. My face turned red, and I instinctively lowered my head, saying in a muffled voice, “About last night, thank you, Mr. Strakovski. And, I apologize for affecting you.”
