“Where did this come from?” My voice was filled with suppressed anger. 

The photo that Victoria sent to me was a thick, yellowed envelope with the words “To My Darling Skylar” written on it. 

I would never admit a mistake. It was my father, Connor’s handwriting, and my father had never written a letter to me during my 

lifetime. 

Seeing this yellowed envelope, it could only mean that my father left me a letter before his passing. 

Unfortunately, this letter was intercepted by Victoria. 

And now, the letter was now in Victoria’s hands.

“You are shameless! How could you do this? You are invading other people’s privacy!” My hands trembled with anger. I found it hard 

to believe that this woman was her mother. 

Victoria chuckled lightly and remained unbothered, “You get angry so easily, after all, you’re just a child.” 

“Give me my letter back!” I demanded in a harsh tone. 

Victoria sneered, “Sure, I can give it back to you, but you have to bring Bella into Strakovski Jewelry.” 

“That’s impossible,” I rejected without hesitation. 

Victoria’s voice turned cold, “Since it’s impossible, then I’ll burn this letter. You’ll never know what’s written in it for the rest of your 

life.” 

My face turned extremely ugly, “You violated my privacy. Aren’t you afraid of me suing you?” 

Victoria didn’t care at all, “If you want to sue, go ahead. Skylar, do you really think I’m afraid? Let me tell you this – if you dare to sue me, I will burn the letter before the court date.” 

“You might not know this, but in this letter, your father wrote about the biggest secret of his life. He wanted to tell you before he died, but he didn’t have the courage to do it in person. So, he could only let you know through this letter. However, he never expected that the letter would end up in my hands.” 

I had never felt so stifled before. I was angry to the extreme but couldn’t express it.

In my entire life, my father, Connor, had been the best to her, and she loved him very much. 

My father had passed away but left me a letter before he did, and now the letter meant for me had fallen into someone else’s hands. I

Suppressing my anger, I asked, “Mom, can we change the condition to something else?” 

Knowing Lukas’s personality, he wouldn’t agree to let Bella join Strakovski Jewelry. 

But Victoria remained stubborn, “Impossible, Skylar. I hope you can persuade Lukas to consider this as a wedding gift for Bella. I don’t care how you do it; I only care about the result. Only when Bella joins Strakovski Jewelry, I will give you the letter!” 

After stating her terms, Victoria didn’t give me a chance to respond and hung up the phone. 

I stared at my phone, my eyes red with anger. I desperately wanted to know what my father had written in the letter.

Ava became angry, “Who would do such a despicable thing?” 

I shook my head, “I don’t know. Don’t be angry; Lukas is investigating it, and I believe we’ll have results soon.” 

As soon as I finished speaking, I saw Martins come to the design department. 

Martins looked at me, “Ms. Lopez, please come with me.” 

I nodded and asked Ava to return to the Information Technology Department first. I got up and followed Martins outside. 

The people in the design department were puzzled and exchanged glances with each other.
