I wrapped my arms around his neck, smiling up at him. “Then you need to live a long life too, so you can grow old with me. 

He kissed me fiercely, his hands gripping my waist so tightly that I could barely breathe. The lotus leaf fell at my feet, and I clung to him as his kisses rained down on me like a storm.
