As he spoke, his kiss brushed my ear, and I pushed him away. “Wait, hold on, I still need to wash up.” 

“Wash up after, darling. You’re not dirty,” he whispered, his voice soothing and persuasive. But this time, I wasn’t as easily swayed. 

“No, I’m all sweaty. Go lie on the bed and wait for me.” I purposely acted a little spoiled.
