Falling For My Contractual Wife (Brian and Grace) novel Chapter 713

Grace paused for a moment, but she wasn't surprised. She had already guessed that Casper would likely be dissatisfied with her background, especially since she knew he had arranged his own son's marriage.

Brian, who was bringing Casper's luggage inside, happened to overhear Casper's question.

He spoke up first, saying, "She's my wife, and now she's part of the Francis family."

Casper was somewhat displeased. He hadn't said much, and his grandson was already protecting this woman like this. Casper thought that there was something wrong with Grace.

"Did I ask for your response?" Casper looked at Brian unhappily.

Grace straightened her back and looked at him calmly. "Casper, I'm not from a prominent family. I was separated from my parents when I was young, and my foster parents are farmers. I grew up in the countryside."

Her words made Casper's face turn very ugly.

"So, you're a farmer too?" he sneered.

"Yes," Grace replied.

Casper chuckled and looked at her. "Do you think you're worthy of my grandson?"

Brian's expression turned cold, but before he could say anything, Grace stopped him.

"If we're talking about social status, then no, I'm not worthy of him," Grace said calmly.

"I know you look down on my background, but you don't need to worry. Brian and I divorced five years ago. The reason we're living under the same roof now is for the sake of our child."

Casper narrowed his eyes.

"Casper, I hope you won't interfere in my affairs. Grace is the only woman I'll ever marry," Brian said firmly.

Casper's gaze swept over the two of them, deep and inscrutable.
