Upon hearing about Austin's missing, Brian immediately left the company.
Both Grace and Brian arrived outside the kindergarten almost at the same time.
As soon as Grace saw Brian, she rushed forward, pounding his chest in a fit of despair, screaming, "Where's Austin? Did Casper take Austin away?"
Brian's brows furrowed deeply as he tightly grabbed Grace's hand, saying, "Grace, calm down. Grandpa wouldn't do such a thing!"
"But they said it was a driver from the Francis family! Who else besides you and Casper?" Grace said.
Daisy, trembling beside them, said fearfully, "They said it was a driver from the Francis family, but Austin... Austin told me he wasn't the driver."
Brian calmly analyzed, "Someone is impersonating us. To dare to impersonate the Francis family, it seems they are very familiar with us, but it couldn't be Grandpa. He wouldn't resort to such means.
"We need to split up and search. I'll go to the police station to check the surveillance footage."
Grace felt that Brian's analysis was likely correct. Casper had many ways to get what he wanted, without resorting to such low tactics. Perhaps she had been too anxious.
Daisy, in a panic, looked at Grace and asked tremblingly, "Then what should I do?"
Grace glanced at her, feeling a throbbing pain in her temples. "Get in the car."
Daisy, usually fierce towards Grace, now felt that she had lost all face.
Grace's mind was numb from the burden of losing her child once again, driving aimlessly on the road.
As time passed and darkness fell, there was still no news of Austin.
Grace refused to go home, sitting on the ground crying with swollen eyes.
They soon arrived.
Brian led Grace up a dirt slope behind the coffee factory and saw Nelson covered in blood, holding the child, his large hands cradling her head as if comforting her.
Seeing this scene, Brian rushed over, snatched the child from Nelson's hands, and then landed a hard punch on Nelson's face.
"Austin!" Grace ran over and hugged her tightly.
Austin looked very weak, her lips pale, but she still tried to comfort Grace, "Mom, you finally came. I'm fine. Don't cry."
Grace hugged her tightly and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't protect you well."
The two men were already engaged in a fierce fight. Grace's temples throbbed painfully. After putting Austin in the car, she walked over and shouted, "What are you fighting for?"
