Chapter 151
Jalen leaned back in his chair and smiled brightly, “I’m really curious. If Ella knew what you were thinking about her, would she still take you as her brother?”
Jalen was threatening Theodore, but Theodore was not angry. Instead, he asked Jalen, “Mr. Halton, do you feel that your relationship with Ella is better than mine? Do you think she will believe you if you tell her?”
Jalen did not speak, but he knew very well that Elaina would believe in Theodore.
“Mr. Murphy, if you are willing to maintain a sibling relationship with Ella, I won’t say anything,” Jalen
said.
“No matter what my relationship with Ella is, I won’t let you be with her!” Theodore snorted.
Just as Jalen and Theodore were arguing, the door to the study upstairs opened, and Elaina and
Andrew walked out.
“Theodore?”
Elaina was the first to notice that something was wrong with the atmosphere in the living room.
She looked at Jalen and Theodore in confusion.
When Theodore heard Elaina’s voice, Theodore’s gaze instantly softened. He turned around and
looked at Elaina. “Ella, are you done with the restoration?”
“Yes. I’ve already sent the video to Captain Russett.” Elaina nodded. She walked to the living room.
. “That’s good.” Theodore heaved a sigh of relief. Then, he said, “Will you stay for lunch? I will cook
for us.”
“Sure,” Elaina said with a smile. “It’s been a long time since the last time I had a meal cooked by
you.”
“Then I’ll go to the grocery store and buy some food. Do you want to go with me?” Theodore
invited Elaina in front of Jalen. Theodore wanted to prove to Jalen that Ella would always believe
