Elaina was the calmest person in the little group. She drank the soup as if she did not hear what

the others said.

With one bowl of hot soup in her stomach, Elaina took the bowl before Theodore and poured some

soup for him. “Theodore, the soup tastes good.”

“Thanks.” Theodore took the bowl of soup that Elaina handed over. He got the hint from Elaina.

Jalen looked at Elaina and waited for her to serve him one bowl of soup.

However, Elaina did not.

Jalen was a bit disappointed but cheered himself up soon. Theodore and Elaina have known each

After Jalen left, Elaina turned to look at Theodore with a frown. “Theodore, you didn’t have to talk

so much with him.”

“Ella, I was worried that you…”

“He is my ex-husband, and that’s all,” Elaina said sternly.

Even so, Theodore was still worried. “Is that so? Don’t you like him?”
