Chapter 177
After Nitzan finished speaking, Jalen chuckled and said, “Is she angry? Why do I feel that she doesn’t care?”
What he wanted was to see a trace of emotion on Elaina’s face, even if it was anger. But he had sensed nothing.
The feeling that Elaina gave him was indifferent, no matter who he was with or whether he had protected her.
“You’re too involved and cannot see it. I think Ella must be angry,” Nitzan said.
Jalen looked at Nitzan. He could not tell the truth of his words. After all, Nitzan could say anything to get him and Elaina together.
After a moment of silence, Jalen said, “Maybe. Anyway, you don’t have to worry about it. I’ll handle it myself.”
“Can you handle it?” Nitzan said doubtfully, “You must not let Ella hate you more.”
According to what Jalen had just done, there was indeed such a possibility.
Jalen glared at Nitzan. Are you really my biological grandfather?
“I need to go. Have a good rest.” Jalen did not intend to continue arguing with Nitzan. It was meaningless.
Seeing that Jalen was about to leave, Nitzan laughed and said, “Aren’t you going to stay here for the night? You’re alone at the Halton’s Residence anyway.”
Jalen was speechless.
Nitzan was deliberately touching his sore spot.
Jalen left without looking back. Nonetheless, Nitzan was not sad. He did not really expect Jalen to stay.
Nitzan was in a good mood and said to Takvor behind him, “I told you that Jalen and Elaina are meant for each other. It won’t be long before they are together. It is the destined fate.”
