The next day, Elaina woke up from Jalen’s bed. Elaina got a bit confused and said, “Why am I sleeping here?”

“What do you think?” Jalen asked in Elaina’s ear, giving Elaina a fright.

Elaina sat up from bed right away and turned to look at Jalen. Elaina asked, “Why are you here as well?”

“This is my sickbed,” Jalen reminded Elaina.

Elaina was a little embarrassed. She recalled what happened last night and looked uneasy. Elaina said, “It’s all your fault.”

If Jalen hadn’t held Elaina forcefully and refused her to leave, Elaina wouldn’t have fallen asleep until the next day.

Jalen didn’t argue with Elaina. He flipped over and got off the bed. Jalen said to Elaina, “Eat your breakfast first, then we will take a flight back to New York.”

“Why are we going back so soon?” Elaina was stunned for a moment and then got up from the bed. Elaina said, “I haven’t asked Corey and Lilly what they think.”

“It’s not too late to go after lunch,” Jalen said.

However, Elaina ignored Jalen. After getting up, Elaina went straight out of the tent. Elaina disappeared from Jalen’s sight very soon, which made Jalen very frustrated.

Elaina walked out of the tent and she saw Corey, Lilly, and Graham standing by the door.

“Ms. Gainsford,” Graham greeted Elaina with a smile. However, Graham’s smile was different from usual.

Elaina was discussing with Corey anxiously about going to New York or not. Elaina didn’t pay much attention to Graham’s strange expression. Elaina nodded. She looked at Corey and said, “I have something to discuss with you. Come with me.”

“Okay.” Corey and Lilly didn’t ask too much. They followed Elaina to her tent.

After they left, Graham waited for a while and then entered Jalen’s tent. Graham said, “Mr. Halton, the airplane is ready. We can take off and return to New York at any time.”

“Great.” Jalen nodded. Then he instructed, “Send her breakfast.”

“Okay.” Even without Jalen’s reminder, Graham knew who Jalen was referring to.
