Chapter 263
Seeing him like this, Theodore knew that Andrew had not realized his own mistake at all. After thinking about it, Theodore said to Andrew, “You better tell Ella about Lucian’s death. She should be very confused right now.”
“Do you want me to say that I caused it?” Andrew knew Elaina would be furious.
Theodore looked at Andrew and said indifferently, “Yes.”
Andrew was speechless.
He wanted to help Elaina, but he did not punch or kick Lucian. He only mocked Lucian a few times, and now he became a murderer.
Andrew was as speechless as he could be, but in the end, he still did not refuse. He obediently called Elaina and told her about how he went to prison to meet Lucian.
On the other side of the line, Elaina was in Jalen’s car. When she received the call from Andrew, her mood was full of mixed feelings.
“What’s wrong?” After seeing her answer the phone, Jalen opened his mouth to ask, feeling that things were not quite right.
Elaina had no intention of hiding anything and said to Jalen, “The cause of Lucian’s death has been found.”
“Huh?” Jalen revealed a puzzled expression. It was so fast.
“Andrew went to the prison to see Lucian yesterday and said some bad things to him. I guess Lucian probably felt guilty, so he chose to commit suicide,” Elaina said.
She didn’t mean to blame Andrew. After all, she knew that Andrew was speaking up for her. Although she felt that it was unnecessary, she couldn’t say anything wrong about it.
Jalen was a little surprised. “Guilty? Is Lucian still the kind of person who has a conscience?”
Why did Jalen not believe it?
If Lucian really had a conscience, he could not kill people with his hands.
