After the conversation with Monica, Elaina walked out of the gym. When Elaina hailed a taxi, Jalen’s car stopped right in front of her.

“Are you done?” Jalen lowered the car window and asked Elaina, who stood by the roadside.

Elaina nodded and then asked, “When did you come? No, how did you know I was here?”

Elaina got out of the car and found her in a manor surrounded by trees. It looked like a fairyland.

“Will we dine here?” Elaina asked the man beside her with interest. This place doesn’t like restaurants at all, Elaina thought.

Jalen led Elaina inside. A servant came over and said, “Mr. Jalen.”

“Is everything ready?” Jalen asked.

“Yes.” The servant replied and then extended his hand to lead the way.

Jalen didn’t explain to Elaina till then. “I bought this manor a few years ago. It is far from the company, so I seldom live here.”
