Falling For My Mysterious Wife By Cassidy Alfaro Chapter 362
Elaina hesitated. She didn’t want to have too much contact with Jaydon.
“Don’t worry, I just want to treat you to a meal. I don’t mean anything else.” He said it openly and was not glib this time.
Elaina thought about it and asked him, “Well, I want to know something from you. If you can tell me, I’ll go with you.”
“Okay, but if it is not too private, I can tell you,” Jaydon smirked. Elaina rolled her eyes and pretended not to see his evil smile.
She got into Jaydon’s car and they drove to the restaurant.
Elaina did not waste time and began to ask him, “Can you tell me about the current situation of the top clans in Boston? What clans are there? What is their sphere of influence?”
Jaydon, who was driving, did not expect Elaina to ask this. He could not react for a while.
After a while, he came back to his senses and looked at Elaina doubtfully. “Why do you suddenly want to ask this? Are you aware of any events?”
Elaina’s eyes moved slightly and she asked, “What do you think I should know?”
They were at loggerheads. At that time, the car quickly stopped at the door of the restaurant. Jaydon did not answer Elaina’s question even though they entered the box.
The waiter poured water for the two of them. After the waiter closed the door and left, Jaydon said slowly, “I don’t know what you should know either.”
“You don’t know anything. Why are you suddenly chasing me?” Elaina felt that this was very strange.
Jaydon looked up at her and then smiled helplessly. “Mr. Becker asked me to chase you. I can’t refuse him.”
Elaina thought, Mr. Becker?
Elaina thought for a moment. She felt more and more strange.
She thought, not only Mr. Becker makes me feel strange, but also Jalen’s grandfather. Their motives are very strange.
She felt a headache and could not help but hold her forehead.
“If you want to know, why don’t you ask my grandfather? Maybe he will tell you.” Jaydon looked at her worried and said kindly.
Elaina looked at him and smiled. “I guess the condition is to let me marry you.”
Jaydon laughed dryly and did not deny it.
Jaydon thought, based on my grandfather’s attitude, he could do such a thing.
“Forget it. I will know all things sooner or later at the proper time. There is no need to think too much about it now.” Elaina spoke as if she was comforting herself.
If not for Jaydon, she wouldn’t always want to find out the truth.
“When do you plan to go back?” Elaina looked at the man opposite her and hoped that he would leave early so that she wouldn’t be upset.
