At that moment, there was a knock on the door again. Jalen felt relieved. He walked over and opened the door. Soon, he came in with a takeout again.

“Your stomach is uncomfortable. You should have some porridge.” As Jalen spoke, he placed the takeout in front of Elaina.

Elaina nodded and did not refuse. “Alright, I will keep the food sent by Saul for

tomorrow.”

As soon as she said this, Jalen sat down opposite her and picked up his fork to eat the food brought by Saul.

Seeing her shocked face, he said unhappily, “What? You owe me such a big favor. I can’t

even eat the takeout?”

Elaina could only nod and said, “Of course, you can if you like.”

collar. “Then I’m taking off now.”

“Okay.” She nodded and couldn’t wait to let him leave.

Jalen walked to the door and suddenly stopped. “You…”

“What?” Elaina asked.

“Forget it. Let’s talk about it in the future.” Actually, he still wanted to know the reason why Elaina hated him, but he did not ask.
