Chapter 69
Get Boy
After knocking down the three kidnappers, Elaina stepped on the face of one of them. Only then did she have the time to look back at Jalen and Saul. “I told you earlier that I didn’t need your help.”
Jalen and Saul were stunned.
At this moment, the same word emerged in both of their hearts. It was fierce.
Yes, fierce.
They had never seen a woman who was so good at fighting.
Elaina ignored them and looked at the person under her feet. “Call your employer.”
The kidnapper did not move and looked very stubborn.
However, Elaina sneered. She suddenly snapped a blade and scratched the kidnapper’s arm without a
moment of hesitation.
“Ah!” the kidnapper cried out in pain.
“Make a call.” Elaina bent down and said fiercely, “Guess where I will cut next?”
“I’ll call. I’ll call.” Arthur nodded repeatedly, feeling so painful that he could not breathe.
Elaina nodded in satisfaction. These three people were not professional kidnappers. There was nothing
surprising about them betraying their employer.
The call was made. After a few beeps, a sound came through.
“Are you done? Send me the video.” A woman’s voice was heard. She sounded nervous and happy.
No one answered her. Elaina was not in a hurry to answer. Instead, she looked at Jalen who was not far
away. The corners of her mouth were raised slightly, but she didn’t look like smiling.
When Jalen heard the voice from the other end of the line, he became increasingly embarrassed. He did not
even dare to meet Elaina’s eyes.
The person on the other end of the line did not wait for an answer. She was a little impatient. “Are you done
yet? If you dare to take my money and ruin my business, I won’t let you get away with it.”
Elaina picked up the phone on the ground and said with a smile, “I’m afraid I’ll have to disappoint you, Ms.
Dunston.”
A gust of wind blew past, and the warehouse was whirring, but the person on the other end of the line was exceptionally quiet.
