Saul held a glass of wine in his hand as he recalled the scene of Elaina pointing at Jalen and scolding Jalen at the apartment entrance.

Saul did not think so. He had a different opinion.

“Did he treat you badly?” Saul asked.

Elaina shook her head. Perhaps she was a bit drunk. When Saul asked, she did not hide anything. She said, “We have been married for two years, but I never met him. So I can’t tell you whether he treated me well or not.”

Hearing this, Saul understood.

It turned out that Jalen did not know Elaina at first. He probably only knew that Elaina was his ex-wife after he was attracted to Elaina.
