Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 437

Chapter 437 I’ll Let You Go If You Serve Me Well

Sadie had been here for a long time. It was the first time that she had seen Huston so angry. She was a little frightened. “Mr.

Lloyd…”

Huston had no patience to listen to her or care about how she would perceive him. He forcefully pulled Evelyn into the bedroom, and the door slammed shut with a loud “bang,”

echoing his raging anger.

When the door closed, it was just the two of them.

As Evelyn was going upstairs, she accidentally sprained her foot. Her already pale face turned even paler due to the pain, but she didn’t say a word. She stood haughtily before him, suppressing the pain, refusing to bend her back even a little. It was this attitude that completely enraged Huston.

“I’ll give you another chance. Take back what you just said.”

Huston’s sharp eyes were filled with anger.

Evelyn knew he was on the verge of losing his temper, but she refused to take a step back. “Huston, I want to leave you. I

want to leave everything about you.”

He could accept everything except her leaving. That was Huston’s weakness.

Now that she kept saying that, the last bit of sanity in Huston’s mind was broken. “If you want to leave, don’t find any excuse. There’s nothing between Mia and me. If you want to leave, fine. Serve me well, and I’ll let you go!”

When Evelyn saw his hand unbuttoning his shirt, she was shocked. She took a step back and pursed her lips. “Huston,

don’t be shameless.”

Huston smiled and kept moving. “It’s not the first time I’ve been shameless to you. One more time won’t make a

difference.”

Soon, his clothes were casually thrown onto the carpet in the bedroom. He revealed his muscular upper body, loosening the belt around his waist, letting it hang loosely as if it could slide

down with just a few steps.

As he approached her step by step, Evelyn felt more resistant than ever before. She wouldn’t naturally comply with his actions, so whenever he approached her, she would step back. They continued this way, pulling at a distance between

them.

Huston seemed to be annoyed by her resistance. Finally, when

her back was against the wall, he read

into his arms. Then she was pressed down on the soft bed.

“Huston, let go of me!” Evelyn’s cheeks brushed past his bare chest. The temperature on it was terrifyingly high. Realizing he was serious, a chill rose from the bottom of Evelyn’s feet.

Let go of her.

It seemed to be the most words she had spoken to him today, and each time she spoke, it pierced his heart.

“I told you, it’s impossible.”

Evelyn didn’t expect him to say that. For a moment, she was speechless. Her face turned dark, and she looked at Huston in

disbelief.

Huston had always been calm and composed, with a hint of ruthlessness in his composure. But now, he seemed to be out of control. It was all because Evelyn wanted to leave him. His emotions had slipped out of his grasp, and his actions and

words didn’t resemble his usual style.

This thought flashed through Evelyn’s mind, and her heart, filled with bitterness, suddenly felt a little better. At the very

least, she was not so unimportant to him.
