Zavier was at his wit's end. Stop dithering and call Sydney right now, or once the Gilbert family gets the Enforcement Division involved, we’re toast!”

Zavier paused for a moment, then sighed and picked up his phone to call Sydney. His dad had a point. If the Gilbert family brought in the Enforcement Division, the Schuler family would be in serious trouble. They had no choice but to take a gamble.

The phone rang only once before it was answered.

A clear, lovely voice came through: “Hey, cousin.”

“Hey, we need your help…”

Zavier laid out the whole situation.

“Hey, babe, what's going on?” A warm, soothing voice answered.

“Aiden, I need a favor.”

Sydney's voice was as sweet as honey. She was proud to have a fiancé working in the Enforcement Division, who was not only competent but also incredibly kind to her. Of course, she was no slouch herself, with ties to the Medical Hall and a friendship with the Roth family heiress.

“What do you need?”

Kenneth was a total softie when it came to her.

“Someone’s giving my aunt’s family a hard time,” Sydney explained. “Do you know Flora, the woman who just joined the Martial World?”
