Cousin Jack and the others quickly joined in.
Flora looked up lazily at Joy. "She's the one who put that thing in my bag," she said.
Joy, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, snapped back, "Flora! Stop making things up!"
Seeing everyone's eyes on her, Joy immediately realized she had overreacted. She quickly switched to a pitiful tone, "Master, how could you not trust me? I would never set Flora up."
Mr. Tanner frowned. He had taken Joy under his wing because of her undeniable talent. He knew she had a difficult personality and was quite crafty, but framing Flora? That seemed a bit much, even for her. She wouldn’t have the nerve to pull such a stunt during a major exam.
"What audacity!" Jules glared at Joy, his expression ice-cold. The nerve to frame Flora? That took some guts.
"Master..." Joy looked at Mr. Tanner with a pitiful expression, hoping he would believe her.
"Director, there's no way Joy would frame Flora! Don't listen to her," Joy's friends quickly defended her, glaring angrily at Flora. "You don't have any evidence, do you? If you do, show it now!"
All eyes turned to Flora. Joy was nervous but still held onto a sliver of hope.
With a calm demeanor, Flora pulled her smartphone from her pocket, her fair fingers swiftly tapping on the screen. "This smartwatch is the latest model from abroad, and each one has a serial number. Mine is S087."
Her cool voice cut through the tension. "I've checked the purchase records. The buyer was an anonymous woman, and the address she provided is near the National Medical Department."
