"Director, what's up with the list? Flora didn't even attend the training. Why is her name on it?"

"We expect a reasonable explanation, Director!"

"This isn't fair!" one of the male competitors, Luiz, said indignantly. "We've been in intensive training these past few days, and you know how much effort we've put into it! Why should Flora just waltz in at the last minute? She hasn't gone through the training; how is she supposed to compete? Is she here to drag us down?"
