Allison dropped her gaze, watching her fingers intertwined with Joshua's. With a smirk, he said, "After being with me, you wouldn't waste your time with trash like him."
He had a point.
Allison leaned closer to Joshua, smiling sweetly. She looked like the perfect picture of a devoted girlfriend. "Joshua, you’re right. Now, my heart belongs only to you. Why would I think about such silly past flings?"
Shawn's smile vanished, his expression turning stormy. Was that all he was to her—just a silly fling? His hand clenched into a tight fist as he fought to keep his anger in check.
Meanwhile, Lillian's eyes flickered with jealousy as she silently cursed Allison a thousand times over.
Sabrina jumped in with a sarcastic tone, "Oh, Celena, no wonder the Trent family can't keep up. You’re chasing after Allie's leftover, how embarrassing."
"Who are you calling a leftover?" Shawn snapped, unable to hold back.
Celena was flushed with anger and was ready to fire back at Sabrina, but a glance at Brian standing nearby made her bite her tongue. She couldn't afford to mess with the Swanson family.
"I'm talking about you," Sabrina replied, arms crossed, watching Shawn with satisfaction. "You're Shawn, right? Being with you is like having a mark on Allison’s record. Luckily, she wised up and kicked you to the curb. Didn't you hook up with your so-called true love? Why isn't she out here enjoying the sunshine with you?"
Shawn was seething, ready to explode.
Lillian noticed and tugged at his arm. "Come on, everyone, let's not make a big deal out of this. It is just a misunderstanding—my bad. I didn't know Shawn and Allison used to date."
