Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 786

Chapter 786 Only Make Her Feel Good

After drinking Aimee's soup, Casey finally felt much better.
Her body had been aching from lying in bed for the past few days, but now that she was feeling more comfortable, she couldn't wait to get up and take a walk.
Aimee and Casey came out of the room together. As soon as they reached the bottom of the stairs, they heard Camdyn anxiously saying, "Hey there, why don't you rest a bit longer?"
Feeling better now, Casey became lively again. If it weren't for Aimee supporting her, she would have jumped right in front of Camdyn.
"Grandpa," said Casey. "Don't be so nervous."
How could Camdyn not be nervous? Especially when Casey had been in such bad shape these past few days - it made him feel extremely anxious.
But seeing that Casey was doing okay now made him slightly relieved.
However, he couldn't let her jump around like a monkey - it worried him to no end. He held onto both Aimee and Casey's hands as they sat down on the couch together.
"No way," said Camdyn firmly. "I have to make Patrick and Kelvin clean up downstairs, so you two can move here."
Both Casey and Aimee were speechless at the moment.
"Grandpa," said Casey with a pout on her face. "Isn't this going too far? Aimee and I aren't disabled or anything. You're treating us like we're useless."
"I trust Aimee completely. She's mature and responsible enough that I don't need to worry about her at all," replied Camdyn sternly. "But you... you're like a little monkey jumping around everywhere! How can I possibly relax when you're like this?"
Casey rolled her eyes. He was being overly dramatic again.
She may have wanted to be like a monkey right now but didn't necessarily possess its agility or energy levels anymore!
Aimee said, "Grandpa, I don't have to. I'll just arrange it for Casey."
"That won't work," Camdyn replied. "You're getting heavier and it's not safe for you to be up there."
Aimee didn't seem to have a problem. She was sleepy at first, but now she was acting like a normal person.
Casey's eyes darted around before she spoke up. "Aimee, you should listen to grandpa's words."
Aimee couldn't help but feel a little frustrated, because she knew exactly what Casey was planning - she just wanted some company.
After thinking about it for a moment, Aimee nodded her head in agreement. She knew that once Camdyn and Patrick talked about it, Patrick would agree without hesitation.
Even if he didn't move downstairs with her, he would still carry her up and down the stairs.
So Aimee decided to skip the conversation altogether and just go along with everyone else's wishes.
Camdyn saw that Aimee had agreed and immediately sent someone to clean out a room for Casey.
Casey had high standards when it came to her living space - everything had to be arranged according to her preferences.
She hesitated for a moment before deciding that they should just move everything from her current room into the new one so she could feel more comfortable.
If she was in good spirits, then maybe her body would follow suit as well.
When Kelvin returned, he saw Casey directing everyone in setting up the room. He walked over and wrapped his arms around Casey's waist, asking, "What are you working on?"
