Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 787

Chapter 787 Even If You Just Coax Me

"Grandpa asked us to move to the first floor," Casey turned to Kelvin and said.
Kelvin had already thought of this idea, but before he could bring it up, Camdyn had already arranged it.
"You go rest. I'll take care of things here," Kelvin said.
Casey nodded and looked up at Kelvin. "Did you buy the things I wanted to eat?" she asked.
"It's on the coffee table. Want me to get it for you?" Kelvin hugged Casey's waist and led her out of the room into the living room.
Over the past few days, Casey hadn't been feeling well and hadn't eaten much. She didn't have much appetite either.
Today was a rare day when Casey actually wanted something specific to eat. Even though from a health perspective what she wanted wasn't suitable for her at this time, after she mentioned it, Kelvin went out and bought it for her anyway.
Right now, the food container was sitting on top of the coffee table in front of them.
Casey's eyes lit up as soon as she saw it. If only Kelvin wasn't holding onto her waist right now, she would have jumped onto the couch by now!
Finally sitting down on the couch with anticipation all over her face, Casey reached out with one hand towards the food container ready to open it up...
But then Kelvin stopped her hand with his own. He lowered his gaze towards Casey and asked, "Are you sure you really want to eat that?"
After all, what she wanted was greasy food that he worried might make her feel sick again just from smelling its aroma alone!
Casey nodded eagerly in response, "Yes! I really want to eat this!"
She finally felt a little better today, so if she didn't take advantage of that opportunity by eating something delicious, that would be such a waste!
Kelvin didn't know what to do, so he just indulged her and let her have whatever she wanted.
Casey was overjoyed. Today was probably the happiest day she had since confirming her pregnancy. When she opened the box and saw that everything she wanted to eat was inside without feeling nauseous, she became even happier.
She turned to Kelvin with a grin and said, "I knew it! There must be a reason why I suddenly craved this."
Kelvin smiled indulgently and reached out to pat Casey's head. "Try it and see if it tastes like what you want."
Casey picked up a fork but suddenly felt a little nervous. She looked at Kelvin and asked, "Can I really eat this?"
In fact, even she wasn't sure if it was safe for her or not.
Kelvin reassured her, "Just taste it. Don't be so nervous."
Casey immediately laughed again and said, "Okay then. I can't waste your hard work."
She took a bite of the food and instantly felt satisfied. The taste of this street vendor's food made her love it even more.
Most importantly, there were no adverse reactions yet, which made Casey even happier.
After taking two more bites of food, Casey put down the fork contentedly and snuggled into Kelvin's arms, saying happily, "Honey, does this mean I'm okay now? Will I never feel uncomfortable again?"
Kelvin had no answer for Casey's question. It was difficult to say whether she would stop reacting after becoming pregnant. When Kelvin didn't respond, Casey pouted and coquettishly said, "You won't even lie to me? Even if you just try to comfort me, it might work. Maybe it's all in my head."
