Chapter 788 I'll Go And Enjoy Myself

Kelvin couldn't help but laugh at Casey's words. He raised his hand and rubbed her head, saying, "But I could never deceive you in this lifetime."
Casey responded with a complex expression on her face. On the one hand, Kelvin's words made her feel that he was truly sincere towards her. On the other hand, she couldn't resist teasing Kelvin.
However, she didn't have the heart to do so.
Casey let out a long sigh and said, "Where did you learn these tricks to charm girls? It's quite outrageous."
Kelvin replied with a smile on his face, "I didn't have to learn anything. When I met you, it just came naturally."
Although Casey was happy to hear such sweet words from Kelvin, she couldn't help but find them funny as well. She wondered how Kelvin managed to make such cheesy lines sound so charming.
She lifted up Kelvin's face with both hands and leaned in close for a kiss on his cheek.
Patrick walked in just as they were sharing this intimate moment together.
He cleared his throat and approached them before turning towards Casey and saying, "You seem very energetic today."
Casey nodded in agreement before replying, "Yes indeed! Thanks to Aimee who made me some soup."
Patrick raised an eyebrow and asked, "Where's Aimee?"
"She's probably resting in the room," Casey replied.
Earlier that afternoon, she and Aimee had moved from upstairs to downstairs. However, Aimee wasn't as requiring as Casey and had already finished packing up early on.
Patrick nodded and was about to head upstairs when Casey stopped him.
"Patrick, your room is on the first floor," she pointed to a room with a smile. "Grandpa wanted me and Aimee to move downstairs. You can stay in this room with her while Kelvin and I will take the other one."
Patrick looked at Casey suspiciously, not understanding what they were up to.
But since they had already moved downstairs, he decided it was best just to go along with it.
He walked towards the room that Casey had pointed out, opened the door but didn't see Aimee inside.
As he walked through the room towards the balcony area, he finally saw her sitting there reading a book.
Patrick sat down next to her and put his arm around her shoulder. "What are you doing here? Isn't it hot?"
Aimee shook her head. "It's okay. I haven't been out here for long."
She had been reading inside earlier but when she looked up at one point, she saw how beautiful the sky was outside and decided to come out onto the balcony for some fresh air instead.
Patrick put his arm around Aimee's shoulder again before placing his hand on her stomach which now appeared much larger than before - especially considering how slender all of Aimee's limbs still were - making it seem even more disproportionate than ever before.
Although Aimee didn't feel like there was anything wrong, her steps were light and graceful, not at all like a pregnant woman in the middle to late stages of pregnancy.
But Patrick couldn't help but worry.
Aimee noticed Patrick's emotions and smiled, saying, "Don't worry. I'm fine. It just looks a bit exaggerated."
"Thank you for your hard work, baby," Patrick said.
Aimee looked up at Patrick and said, "How about this? Once they're born, you can take care of them while I go enjoy myself."
