Agnes’s eyes landed on the document. 

She seemed to be muttering under her breath, “No, he’s definitely gonna sign it.” 

Agnes looked up and forced a smile at Leo, “Thank you so much, Leo.” 

Afterwards, Agnes turned around and left.

Leo stood there, the document in his hand weighing him down with sadness. 

Finally, he reluctantly walked into the CEO’s office.

Leo walked over and tried to get his attention, “Boss.” 

Jared looked up, his voice cold, “What is it?” 

Leo put the document on Jared’s desk, “Ms. Pritchard was here just now. She asked me to give you this and she said…” 

Jared saw the document. 

The words “Divorce Agreement” were particularly glaring. 

Jared’s aura seemed to suddenly turn cold, giving Leo the chills. 

“What else did she say?” Jared’s voice was frosty. 

“She said you’ll definitely sign it.” 

Instead, Jared picked up the document and flung it across the room. 

Papers scattered everywhere. 

Leo silently took a step back, standing next to Jared, hoping to make a quick exit. 

“Boss…” 

“Get out!” 

Leo had worked with Jared for many years and had seen him angry. 

But he had never seen Jared this cold and ruthless, and out of control. 

Leo quickly left the office. 

The office was eerily quiet. 

Jared’s hand was clenched into a fist, the veins on the back of his hand were visible. 

He thought to himself, “Agnes, is our marriage really that fragile, that it can’t withstand a little storm. Why do you always choose to give up whenever we face difficulties. Is our marriage really that insignificant to you?” 

Jared slowly unclenched his hand. 

In the end, he picked up the papers one by one from the floor. 

In his mind, he could see Agnes in the hospital, what she had said. 

Agnes said that if he didn’t divorce her, she would go to Ryder! 

She was actually forcing him to sign with this kind of method.
