Agnes snorted, “Ms. Laura, you should know, I didn’t come back because of this.” 

Laura put on a surprised expression. 

Then she said, “Is there something else?” 

Agnes didn’t want to beat around the bush anymore, “Did you expose Alyssa? Did you pin the blame on me?” 

Laura replied, “Agnes, I really don’t know what you’re talking about. Do I have the capability? How much could I know about the Whitfield family’s affairs?” Agnes frowned. 

Laura had clearly told her the secret yesterday. But today, after the news broke, she suddenly denied it. 

Agnes laughed, “Ms. Laura, you really don’t have to worry that much. Rest assured, this is your room, there are no cameras, and I didn’t bring a recorder.” Laura was just afraid to admit it and give Agnes a handle over her.
