Naturally, Olivia was on Shannon's side.
It was clear to Shannon that Olivia and Vincent were standing up for her, so she smiled at them.
Eddie felt a little diffident at being forced to step forward, but he could only feign calmness as he stood up.
Connor frowned when he saw that Shannon really wasn't going to do anything. Still, he didn't want to be too forceful. He'd looked into the cast of "Sixth Sense" and knew that Juniper, Shannon, and Eddie were supposed to be the representatives of the mystic arts and were regular people.
Soren had pulled out of the program because of an acute illness, leaving Olivia and Vincent as the only celebrities. Still, they were only for show.
He suppressed his irritation and gave Eddie and the rest of the cast and crew a rundown of the recent things that had happened to the Gray family. He hoped against hope that Eddie would be able to help him. Anyway, if all else failed, the crew would definitely force Juniper and Shannon to help.
Thanks to everything that had happened during "Sixth Sense"'s first episode, there was no way the production crew would allow their first request from an audience member to end in failure. When the time came, they would pressure Shannon to help.
Connor felt like his plan was foolproof. Because of that, he wasn't very focused when telling Eddie about the situation.
Eddie looked like an honest, humble man on the outside, but his ego had been boosted after receiving countless compliments from his fans since becoming a blogger. And so, Connor's half-hearted explanation made him feel like he'd been insulted.
Was Connor looking down on him, thinking that he wouldn't be able to resolve the problem? Even if Eddie really couldn't do anything to help Connor, that didn't mean he wanted to be looked down on like this.
