“What did I tell you witch?” Papa’s voice boomed from inside me but my mouth wasn’t even moving. “WHAT DID I TELL YOU?”

“N…not to hu…rt Amara.” Cassidy replied struggling to breath.

I have never seen her this scared. Even Grayson’s cool semblance of nonchalance had slipped. He looked scared for his mate.

“What were you doing?” he asked in a very deadly voice.

“I w…as hurting h..er.” Cassidy was slowly turning purple.

“Right. I am telling you this one last time witch. DO NOT HURT MY PUP OR I WILL CLAW YOU LIMB BY LIMB. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?”

I saw nails protruding from my the hand of the light surrounding my arm. It grazed Cassidy’s neck a little making her whimper. There was blood coming out of her neck where the claws touched her.

“WHAT DID I ASK YOU?”

“Y…es Al…pha.” Cassidy muttered whimpering.

Papa threw her towards the opposite wall and she fell down in a heap. No body made a move to help her. He turned towards Steven who was looking at me stunned.

“And you.” Papa started pointing at him. I saw Steven visibly shake on his feet. “Thank you for helping her last night.” Steven nodded. I had a feeling that papa didn’t like the idea of the way he helped me. My suspicions were conformed with the tone of his next words. “Just a warning kid. Hurt her and you will regret ever being born. I will make sure of it and so will my son.”

Papa looked to be on a full threatening mode. He looked around the room. His eyes landed on Aaron.

“How are you kid?” he asked.

His mood taking a complete U-turn.

“I am good Alpha.” Aaron replied smiling at my father.

He looked quite scared but relieved that he was not on the receiving end of papa’s wrath.

“I never got to meet you properly before. My princess talks a lot about you. Thanks for being by her side.” He said quite fondly to him.

“It’s my pleasure Alpha.” Aaron replied bowing at him. Well me.

“Hello princess.” His voice melted down.

“Hi papa.”

“You are healed good.” He stated.

“Umhm.”

“You always make me proud one way or another.” He said.

I can feel his emotions seep into me.

“Papa I missed you so much.”

I wanted to hug him so bad.
