I
Loneliness suddenly surged towards Dreckos’ heart the following days. Why is it that he could not find the woman that would somehow make his heart jump and beat rapidly? Would he really grow so, so old without someone beside him? “Oh, what a lonely life, I got here?” he sighed.
Beside him, King Timodore has been observing Dreckos. He could sense that something is bothering him. “Dreckos, is there something in your mind that is bothering you now?” he asked oddly.
Dreckos scratched his head and feeling a little embarrassed, replied, “Well my King, I just think, I am too old and long enough waiting for my Ms. Right.”
King Timodore almost burst into laughter as he heard Dreckos’ problem but he tried to control himself to avoid offending his most trusted right-hand man and friend. You see, everyone has their own problem to tell.
“Hmm, Dreckos what if we advertised about it?” King Timodore suggested while caressing his chin, thinking deeply.
Dreckos laughed. “It’s alright with me hehe.”
Suddenly, King Timodore remembered someone. “Dreckos, did you not even try to look at Madelie, my Executive Assistant in the hotel?”
Dreckos with a swift move turned his head to King Timodore, with eyes teasing. “Ahh yes my King, I remembered Madelie; I once looked at her but she was looking at you instead.”
King Timodore’s laughter filled the throne’s hall upon hearing Dreckos’ words. “Oh really? Did you check if the Queen was looking when Madelie was looking at me like that?”
Dreckos laughed out loud. “Yes she did and I felt that she wanted to slash Madelie’s neck.”
“Hahaha, awww, that’s good to hear.” King Timodore felt amused learning that her Queen got jealous sometimes. “So, are you going to date Madelie?”
Dreckos’ eyes twinkled. “Can you please arrange that for me, my dear King and dear friend?”
