Chapter 55 King's Plan for Dreckos

I

“Dreckos, you should be ready tomorrow. I asked Madelie to accompany you in buying a gift for the Queen. I said, as a woman, it is her that could pick the best ring for the Queen.” King Timodore’s voice seemed to be excited. Dreckos laughed heartily.

“Wowow, so quick of you my King to arrange something like that for me and Madelie. Thank you.” Dreckos seemed to be more excited.

“That’s not all lonely boy… but soon to be a happy man.” King Timodore said mysteriously.

“I am quite intrigued my King, hmmm.” Dreckos eyed his good King inquisitively.

“It is like this Dreckos. It is as if you are looking for a ring for the Queen, but actually, that ring is for her. So when she has already chosen one, you will buy it, then fall to your knees, offer her the ring and ask her to be your wife. Got me, buddy?” King Timodore stated in a commanding manner.

Dreckos was astounded. He felt nervous actually. “What? What if she will choose a very expensive ring thinking that it is for the Queen? How am I going to pay for it? Goodness King, am I really your friend?” he hissed.

King Timodore’s laughter boomed inside the throne’s hall when he heard Drecko’s complaint.

“Wanted a wife or not? Wife or money? Don’t be a tootsie roll; you parsimonious man! ” King Timodore looked at Dreckos intensely.

“A wife of course my King. Hmm, can I give her at least a budget for the ring? I will say that it is your budget.” Dreckos asked wittingly.

“What? I am not a cheap giver, you stingy man. Let her choose any ring suited for a Queen. Hmm, I will pay fifty percent of the ring’s price. What do you think?” asked King Timodore, who seemed to be thinking deeply.

“Son of a gun Dreckos, you are my most valiant warrior and yet you are too coward when it comes to Madelie?” King Timodore shouted.

“Hey, hey, I am just following my King’s footstep hahaha.” Then Dreckos put his hands up when King Timodore wanted to give him a hard hit on his face.

When both men agreed for tomorrow’s special date of Dreckos with Madelie; Dreckos excused himself and thanked his King friend again.

While walking far from the throne’s hall, Dreckos felt some rats running into his chest, thinking about how he will propose to Madelie the next day.

“Oh my Madelie, don’t reject me please; I really wanted to hear your moans for me, like the Queen moaned for the King, every day,” Dreckos thought with twinkling eyes.
