Hearing that, Alice completely had nothing to say.
As if afraid to touch on the sensitive subject, Manfred avoided the topic of pursuing her and instead asked about her design career.
Manfred was indeed a man who was good at talking, and had high EQ, knowing what to say and what not to say.
If they were together, she would feel good, because he would think of everything for her, even after they got married.
Unfortunately, Alice did not have that kind of feeling to him, so even if the day was comfortable, life was insipid.
She especially wanted to ask Manfred to give up. She would not be with him, but she felt her works would be in vain.
Thinking of that, Alice lowered her eyes and sighed softly in her heart.
That year, what of her attracted him and made him miss her so long?
*
Shortly after Alice and Manfred left, a black car stopped at the company downstairs.
Nathan glanced in the rearview mirror at Kennedy in the back seat.
"Mr. Kennedy, you really don't go back to rest?"
Kennedy lifted his eyes and his black circles could be seen under his eyes, but he still looked handsome.
"Cut the crap.” Kennedy said coldly. It had been a long time he did not see that woman, he wanted to surprise her.
How would she react?
Nathan helplessly shut his mouth. In the middle of the night, Kennedy asked him to book a flight and Kennedy flew back ahead of them. As he landed, he came to Alice’s company.
Were women that attractive?
Thinking of that, Nathan suddenly thought of a girl's face, and wondered if she was still angry.
Kennedy walked into the elevator, and met Winnie who was to go outside to buy things.
Winnie felt bad when she saw Alice went out with Manfred. She always felt Alice and Kennedy was a pair, after all, she saw what happened before.
But suddenly Mr. Manfred form the Blue Sky Company came. He looked at Alice with blatant love in his eyes.
Now Kennedy suddenly appeared in the company, ht was probably to find Alice.
Seeing that he was to take the elevator up, Winnie could not help but say, "Mr. Kennedy!"
Kennedy look coldly at her and said, knowing she was an employee of this company, "What?"
Winnie subconsciously nodded, nervously biting her own back teeth, "Are you here for Alice? She's, she's not in the office."
Out of the office?
Kennedy frowned and then fixed his eyes on her.
His eyes were cold, which made Winnie shivered.
"Can you tell me where she is?"
Winnie shook her head, "Actually... I don't know, but she must be out talking about work."
Talk about work?
Kennedy pursed his thin lips and did not say a word.
"Or... you go to the office and wait for her? I guess she'll be back soon."
