Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 247

Winnie continued to comfort.

"There were two possibilities. Luke, the competition is over, no matter what the result is, don’t let the competition affect your mood. Even if you lost the competition, it is a normal thing. People realized the joy of winning because of loss."

"In the future you will face a lot of competitions, no matter how big the competition is, you have to treat it with calm and never let anything affect your emotions."

Winnie said a lot, but Luke, who had depression, needed.

"Luke, there are something you need to learn from Daddy. He is clam in face of difficulties. There was nothing that Daddy couldn't solve, nothing would become his obstacles. You won't grow up until you learn how calm Daddy is."

"I know, Mommy, I will not let things get me down, I will learn from Daddy and become a real man."

Luke suddenly enlightened and his mood was not depressed anymore because Mommy's words.

He knew that his Mommy had the best way to ease his troubles, and he knew that his Mommy was not only the best Mommy but also the best teacher.

"Brother is the best. Brother is the pride of my family."

Megan could not feel the kind of tension of Luke, but she believed her brother could succeed.

Brian ate while listening to Winnie’s advice on Luke.

He cared the most Winnie's evaluation on him. He did not expect in Winnie's heart he was so successful and became a children's role model.

After dinner, they returned to the hotel. Winnie asked the two children to take a nap and lay down beside them.

Then she heard Brian's phone ring, followed by the voice of Brian answering the phone.

"I'm out. I'm flying back tonight."

Brian's voice was impatient and cold.

"Then I'll meet you at the airport."

Wendy said with some excitement.

She hadn't seen him for several days, and he hadn't contacted her by phone.

In order to give Brian a surprise, she came to the company, but Brian was on a business trip.

Now Wendy standing by the elevator was ready to go home.

"No need, it will be very late. I have asked Albert to pick me up. I'll contact you tomorrow."

Brian did not want Wendy to see him return with Winnie, or Wendy would be jealousy.

"Ok. The elevator is coming, I gotta go. See you tomorrow."

Winnie listened to Brian, and her intuition told her it must be Wendy. So her heart began to ache.

She seemed to have made a wrong decision. She was a friend with Brian but it still hurt her.

Wendy hung up the phone and got on the elevator.

When the elevator stopped at the twenty-eighth floor, Klara came in.

Klara knew Wendy but did not speak, just gave a faint smile.

"Are you Klara? I met you in the president's office."

Wendy spoke first.

"Yes, I'm Klara. Hello, Miss Yup."

Klara had to say hello.

"Are you Spencer's wife?"

Wendy continued to ask.

"Yes, thank you for remembering my husband."

No one in this company remembered Spencer.

"If you are not busy, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Wendy offered the invitation.

So the two went to a cafe in the back of the company.

"Klara, Spencer had been gone for so many years, are you single?"

Wendy asked with concern, and did not directly mention the topic she was interested in.

"Yes, I have my parents and child to support, so it's not easy to have a boyfriend. I am good, I just live like this."

Klara was sad. For so many years, no one mentioned her dead husband, except Brian no one cared about her family.

Wendy asked her so, which was a kind of concern.

"Then wait until the child is older. It's not easy for you to bring home the bacon all by yourself. If you have any difficulties in the future, just let me know, and I'll do what I can to help."

"Thank you, Miss Yup."

Klara thanked her faintly; she knew that there was no free lunch.

Wendy and her husband were not that familiar. She did not have to take care of her for him. The only possibility was that she wanted to know something from her.

As expected, Wendy then said the key point.

"Klara, I wanted to ask you something. I heard that you have been around Brian for so many years. You must know a lot of things since you left him only a short time ago."
