Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 619

Leo was obedient, not only lower his head but also bend down the whole upper body. So his nose touched Emily's face.

"You..."

Emily blushed instantly and retreated a small step.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to."

Leo apologized, but not sincerely, and he showed a bad smile on his face.

"Chicanery."

Emily ignored Leo's apology, but help him put on the apron.

Leo continued to cut vegetables. Standing aside, Emily could not help laughing.

A handsome and indomitable man wore a woman's apron.

Funny, but cute.

"What you laughing at what? It looks good on me."

Leo smiled, because Emily smiled.

He did not see Emily smile for a long time, regardless of her smile was mockery or joy, Leo felt wearing this apron was worth it.

"Nothing, go and cook."

Emily immediately stopped her smile, she did not want to have too much communication with Leo.

"All right, I will cook. Do you like these? If not, I can go out and buy something you like."

Leo stopped smiling too and did not want to destroy the rare opportunity.

Emily looked at these ingredients, which she liked, and knew Leo bought them for her.

Emily was touched, but she could not express it. She finally spoke.

"Let me help you."

So two people worked together in the kitchen.

Charles received a phone call from Christine and hurried back. When he was home, the food had not been ready, so he had tea sitting in the living room while watching the two cook in the kitchen.

"It is good."

Charles couldn't help but praise what he saw.

"Yes, Leo is good, but your daughter is capricious. If she had forgiven Leo early, we would have a grandson now."

Christine unconsciously nagged. She liked Leo and she could forgive what he had done before.

"What do you mean? You educated her since she was a kid, even if she is capricious, you made it."

Charles said, unconvinced. Looking at such a warm scene, he felt Emily was too pretentious. Or he'd have a son-in-law.

"Well, it is my fault then. Now it's up to you to deal with the problem. I will see if you can do it."

Christine did not argue, but threw the problem to Charles.

"What problem?"

Charles looked stunned.

"Ask your daughter to forgive Leo and let them be together as soon as possible. If this opportunity is missed again, Leo will be others’ son-in-law."

Christine let Charles deal with the problem. She had been worried for Emily. If Leo met another girl who liked him, Emily would lose him.

"What can I do? Why can't you think of a way?"

Charles could manage a big company, but he could not convince his daughter.

"I have helped. If I didn't pretend to be sick, Emily would have gone abroad. I made a sacrifice for her, and you can't just sit idle."

Christine had done all she could except send her daughter to Leo's house.

"What do you want me to do? I can't pretend to be sick and force my daughter to get married, or let her get pregnant. That's not what I should do as a father."

"You deal with it, if Leo becomes others’ son-in-law, I... I will not want this daughter."

"Neither will I."

Christine and Charles quarreled like kids. Now they valued son-in-law more than their daughter.

After a moment of silence, dinner was ready. The family sat down at the table and began to eat.

"Emily, bring me some wine. Good dishes can’t go without wine."

Charles commanded, it seemed he had to have wine.

Emily did not object but went to get wine.

Emily poured two glasses of wine, and then put them down, but Leo poured two glasses too, so everyone got one glass.

Leo raised his glass.

"Christine, Charles, Emily, cheers, and then you can give me suggestions on this meal."

"Ok, cheers."

Charles said deliberately and he thought he was helping.

Emily glanced at her father, but did not object. She exchanged wine for water and drank with everyone.
