Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 620

Holding Emily's cold hands, Leo was sure that he really had a fever. But he felt steadfast holding her soft hands.

"I'll walk you in."

Emily was worried about Leo, so she could only send Leo in.

Two people together got into the villa and went directly to Leo's bedroom on the second floor, because the medicine box was in his bedroom.

But for a long time she failed to find it, she was anxious.

"There is no fever-reducing medicine, I go out and buy for you."

Emily was to leave but once again stopped by Leo.

"No need, I can’t have it because I drank. Do me a favor and get me some hot water, I will be fine."

Leo was dizzy and felt his temperature getting higher and higher. But he thanked himself for his fever, or Emily would leave.

"I'll get you some hot water."

Emily did not know how to do, she had never experienced such a thing and she did not know how to take care of a patient, so she had to listen to Leo.

Emily went downstairs to get hot water. When she was back, Leo lied in bed covering with a thick quilt. He curled up in the quilt, looking pitiful.

"Here is the hot water. Get up and drink some."

Emily sat on the bed holding the glass of water. Then Leo sat up. Leo's face was rosy because of a fever.

Leo took the water and began to drink it bit by bit.

"I should have been sick a long time ago, knowing that I can be taken care of by you."

Though dizzy, Leo was still joking.

"Don’t talk nonsense. Drinking water won't stop your mouth."

Emily was upset, but she could not show it though she was worried about Leo, but Leo was still joking.

"Drink water, I won’t say anything."

Leo stopped it and then continued to drink water.

"I go out and buy some medicine for you. If your fever doesn't go down, you must take medicine."

Emily said and got up, but was again pulled back to bed by Leo.

"You don't need to go out. I've already called my private doctor. He'll be here in a minute."

Leo still took Emily's hand when he finished speaking.

"Then drink some hot water."

Emily's mind was now in her hand. Leo had been holding her hand, which made her both embarrassed and shy. She tried twice to pull it back but failed.

"The doctor also told me to drink hot water first."

Leo drank another mouthful of hot water.

"Let go of my hand."

Emily finally could not help but ask Leo to let go.

Leo was a good man. He reluctantly let go and then said with disappointment.

"I am sick, and I just want to seek comfort, alas..."

Leo deliberately showed that he was poor, hoping Emily would pity him.

He could feel that Emily was concerned about him since they got off the car, which was proof that she still loved him. It would keep him going after his true love.

"You don't need comfort. Drink more water and talk less."

Emily got up and stood away from this sick but talkative man.

Brian drank more three glasses of hot water until his private doctor arrived.

After the doctor inquired Leo's condition, he confirmed that it was acute respiratory infection.

"Get infusion, or you'll have a persistent fever."

The doctor gave the cure and Emily opened her mouth.

"He drank. Isn't it dangerous to get infusion?"

"He drank?"

The doctor confirmed.

"Yes."

Emily answered while nodding.

"It's okay. It will be fine without some pills."

"Did he drink the water?"

The doctor asked Emily.

"Yes, five glasses of water."

Emily remembered it clearly, because she gave hope on every glass of water, hoping that Leo would be better after drinking water.

"Did he get sweat?"

The doctor felt it funny because of Emily's careful observation.

"No."

Emily gave an affirmative answer, because she had been watching Leo, but he got little sweat.

"Well, I see, I will add some antipyretic into the infusion. And I will give him some antipyretic to eat, and you let him eat it if his fever doesn't go down after the infusion. If you can, you'd better physically cool him down by wrapping an ice pack around his forehead with a towel. It will help him cool down a lot."

"Also, you need to keep an eye on him after I leave and call me if he feels anything wrong."
