Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 627

Looking at Emily's cooking, although there were only two vegetable dishes, Leo must taste it.

"Eat, eat. I'll eat more of your cooking."

Leo sincerely said and then he began to eat.

It didn't taste as good as his, but it tasted delicious. Maybe there was love in it.

Dinner had hardly been finished when the private doctor arrived. Emily and Leo were in a hurry to finish the food.

Upstairs, the doctor inquired and determined to continue infusion.

"You have no wine today, right?"

The doctor asked looking at Emily. He still believed she knew more about his illness than Leo did.

"No."

Emily had dinner with Leo so she knew that.

"Good, have some medicine."

Said the doctor, and began to prepare. Emily put forward her own questions.

"Yesterday he had a high fever and was given medicine to reduce it. Today he does not have a fever, can he stop having the antipyretic medicine?"

Emily was afraid that many medicine would produce adverse effects on Leo.

The doctor looked up at Emily, then smiled at Leo.

"Mr. Johnson, your girlfriend is really careful with you. She notices it."

"Of course, she is my girlfriend."

Leo smiled from ear to ear. He dare not say Emily was his girlfriend for a long time, but now it sounded both pleasant.

Emily said nothing, because she was embarrassed. She just ruthlessly stared at Leo.

The doctor stopped smiling and then answered Emily's question.

"Don’t worry. There is no fever-reducing infusion today. But he should take oral antipyretics. He'll be cold or hot in a minute. You must monitor his temperature. If it exceeds 38 degrees, you must give him antipyretic medicine."

"You mean he will have a fever?"

Emily was nervous again, she was afraid that it would happen again.

"Yes. He's already cold, but he's not saying it."

"Fever... It's like good versus evil. It is a struggle in which good must be wounded in order to win, and evil does not shrink from a single struggle. It must be completely destroyed in order to win, in order to reduce the fever."

The doctor metaphorically explained, to let Emily understand some medical common sense.

"You mean he will have a fever tomorrow as well as today?"

Emily's nerves were tight. She hoped that he could get well as soon as possible.

"It is a possibility but not a certainty. Don't worry. With you taking such good care of him, I'm sure he will get well soon."

The doctor comforted Emily again with a relaxed look. Maybe he saw too many patients, so it is not a big deal for him. It was also possible that he received a phone call from Leo before coming.

The doctor left after the infusion, but Emily became more nervous, always observing whether Leo had a fever.

"You're worried about me, aren't you?

Looking at Emily’s nervous appearance, Leo was happy. This disease was worth it, otherwise Emily would not be so good to him.

"I... Why should I worry about you? I just want you to get better because I don't want to stay here."

Emily did not admit that. She only knew it she was worried about him in her heart.

"I seem to have troubled you. I can take care of myself. You go home."

Leo joked, but the genial smile on the face disappeared, and his voice became serious. Emily did not think it was a joke.

"You...... Ok, I'll go."

Emily got up, but was pulled back by Leo and she fell on Leo's body.

"I'm joking. Do you think I'd let you go?"

Leo's voice was soft, he could not be angry to Emily.

"You..."

Emily struggled to her feet, but her hand was still in Leo's.

"You joke again, I will leave you."

Emily gave a serious warning, with an angry face, but Leo was pleased.

"Let go of your hands."

Emily commanded.

"No, you will leave me if I let go."
