Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 708

Thomas forcibly pulled Richard and didn't let him rush out. Penny had already spoiled his good deed, he could not let Richard cause troubles.

Richard was pulled back and forced to sit on the bed. He did not know where to look, there was no color in his eyes.

"Don't worry. I will try to get you to meet Penny. Stay here and wait to hear from me."

Thomas's mood became calm. He stabilized Richard and was would give him opportunity.

Winnie had work in the company, Brian from time to time jumped out of her mind to disturb her thoughts, making her absent-minded.

As she was thinking about Brian, a knock on the door interrupted her confused thoughts.

"Come in."

Winnie adjusted his depressed mood. When she looked up, she saw Stefan holding a bunch of flowers.

"What are you doing here?”

Winnie asked with surprise.

Stefan, with a happy smile and flowers, came to Winnie's desk.

"I haven't heard from you in days. I came to see you."

"It's for you. Don't refuse. I know you'll like it."

Stefan sent the flowers to Winnie.

He came today to begin his formal pursuit, but he could not say it directly, or Winnie would reject him.

He was going to give Winnie time, but he did not expect Brian to take action so quickly to break up with Gloria.

Stefan was worried that he had to pursue Winnie ahead of schedule, otherwise Brian would take advantage.

"Why do you give me flowers?"

Winnie stood up, hesitating to take the bouquet of flowers or not.

"It is good to receive flowers, I am showing my concern for you. Take it, or I'll think you're expecting roses."

Stefan jokingly said, trying to make the atmosphere relaxed and cheerful.

"I don't expect any roses. I will take it."

Hearing that, Winnie had to accept it.

She seldom received flowers, and she did not study their words. But she still knew the words of roses, and she could not force Stefan to give her roses.

Holding the flowers in her arms, smelling the light flowers, Winnie thought of Brian.

When they were together, everyone thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend, even she greedily thought so. But had Brian sent her flowers? Was there such a romantic moment?

Winnie asked herself, but she could not find the answer.

The relationship between her and Brian was always bitter and contentious. There were good memories, too, but they were unreal and hard for her to remember.

He gave her valuable items in addition to money, which pressed on her breath, so she did not accept it.

If he gave her a bouquet of flowers, she would accept it happily.

"What are you thinking?, Do you like the flowers?"

Stefan woke up Winnie who was in a daze. He had maintained a cheerful smile, hoping that Winnie didn't have pressure because of a bunch of flowers.

"Yes, it's beautiful. Thank you for the flowers. I like them. How about I treat you to have lunch?"

Winnie was a person who did not want to owe a favor, no matter what this bunch of flowers represented, she should have courtesy.

"Great, can I have anything I want?"

It was a bonus. It was a surprise. It was not a meal but a chance to spend time together.

"Yes, whatever you want. Whatever B City has, I will satisfy you."

Winnie said generously, as long as Stefan agreed to have this meal, she did not owe him.

"Ok, I'll think about what I want. But not at noon. I have a client appointment at noon. Are you free tonight?"

If Stefan had known that Winnie would asked him to have lunch, he would delay the time to meet the client, but he had an appointment and he could not change it.

“Yes, but I'll get Caro with us. I want to thank her, but I had no time. This is a good time, three of us have dinner together."

Winnie temporarily could not get along with Stefan alone.

She did not want to to give Stefan any opportunity, and did not want to bring trouble to Stefan, for dear that Brian would hurt Stefan.

"No problem, you contact her. I gotta go. It is time to meet my client. You may choose the place for dinner. I am a good boy who is not fussy about what I eat."
