Jesus, how much more stupid could she get?!
"Did you suddenly become shy after that performance, Amara?"
"Oh fuck you."
Wrong choice of word.
"Why the hell are you even calling me? Did you bonk your head and once again forget that we're divorced? You have no business calling me, Tobias Larsen."
"You act so righteous after putting on such a lewd show. How interesting. But tell me this, Amara,"
Perhaps it was the sound of her name rolling off his lips, or the way his voice dropped several octave lower, becoming deeper than usual. Either way, the combination was enough to cause a shiver to run down her spine.
"If I didn't call and someone else did, were you planning on giving him the same show? Letting him listen to those lewd noises of yours? Don't you feel ashamed?"
The question caught her off guard, but more importantly, it pissed her off.
"That's none of your business, Tobias and last I checked, I'm a single woman, I have needs and I can choose to fulfill those needs whenever I see fit. I have no reason to feel ashamed. But you see, if that annoys or irritates you, perhaps you should consider not calling the woman, who happens to be your ex wife, ever again. It'd save both of us the trouble and embarrassment, don't you agree."
Without waiting for a response, Amara ended the call and dropped the phone on the bed.
Tobias...fucking bastard.
What the hell was he thinking calling her out of the blue, and to listen her do something like that?!
“I should just disappear.” Amara muttered into her pillow as she buried her face into it, hoping to hide her embarrassment and perhaps forget all that Tobias had said.

After Amara had hung up on him, Tobias stared at his phone with a tinge of frustration in his expression.
