“Wha..where…wait…” Amara was too tired and weak to speak, and even though she had tried to fight him off, the drugs in her system was too strong and she was unable to break free.

“Shut up,” Tobias commanded, his tone dark and laced with anger. “We’re going to the hospital.”

“N-no…” Amara tried to protest, but the sound of Jason’s voice cut her off.

“Hey, you! Where the hell do you think you’re taking my woman?!” Jason shouted, clearly angry and annoyed.

Tobias stopped and turned around, gracing Jason with one of his famous cold glares as he watched the man confidently approach him. "Your woman?"

“Yes, so step the fuck away from her and don’t try to test my patience you fucker.”

Tobias never took too lightly with curse words being used on him and he definitely wasn’t liking the fact that a lowlife like Jason had the audacity to call Amara his woman.

Calmly, he placed Amara on the nearest car bonnet, took his jacket off and placed it around her and made sure to turn her away. “Give me a moment.” He muttered to her, but it was obvious that Amara’s state wasn’t one that could under the words he was saying.

Sighing, Tobias turned and walked over to Jason, who had his head held high and a smirk on his face.

“Repeat those words again, I dare you.” Tobias warned.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure you heard me the first time. Now, step away and go get yourself a girl your league. This bitch belongs to me.”

Tobias’s fist was the first thing to connect with Jason’s cheek. His knuckles ached from the punch, but the pain was a lot more tolerable than the rage within him.

Jason groaned in pain, but Tobias was too lost in the feeling of punching the living daylights out of him, that he didn’t realize the punches weren’t enough.

He grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, punched him one more time, before dragging him towards a wall.
