Brennan returned to the car, took out Marlene’s phone, and sent a message to Brittany.
“Are you not afraid that he would find out if you do it like this?”
Within two minutes, Brittany came back with a long voice message: “So what if he knows? He loves me so much that he can’t bear to scold me for your sake! Besides, he doesn’t care about you at all.
