Lucas stuttered, his gaze darting anxiously toward Seraphina seated in the front row.
Seraphina glanced at Aria, her tone tinged with resignation. “Dr. Ashworth, I remember that I had already informed everyone in the group.”
She had deliberately excluded Aria from the group and intentionally prevented anyone from informing her about the meeting.
So Aria’s lateness was inevitable.
Even if she had a hundred excuses, being late was being late–especially in front of leadership with such an unapologetic attitude. It would be difficult for her to advance professionally in the future.
