Aria’s eyes inadvertently revealed a hint of pain, which Seraphina noticed clearly. She stepped forward, her face full of pride. “Even if you restore the surveillance footage, so what? Do you think Kane will make things difficult for ine just because he knows the truth about your innocence?

“Face reality–don’t overestimate yourself. Kane will never choose you over me.”

Seraphina turned to leave.

That’s when Aria’s voice

ice sounded from behind her. “I recorded everything you just said.”

Seraphina froze in her tracks, suddenly turned around, and her gaze fell on the pen in Aria’s hand.

Seraphina grabbed her wrist and demanded. “How dare you record mo!”

Without waiting for Aria to answer, she easily snatched the pen and forcefully threw it on the ground, causing it to shatter immediately.

After destroying the evidence, Seraphina sneered coldly. “Aria, I advise you not to attempt things beyond your capability!”

Watching the pen shatter at her feet, Aria suddenly laughed. “You always say I overestimate myself, but if you really had that confidence, would you be afraid of me recording our conversation?”

“You dare trick me!” Seraphina angrily pushed Aria’s hand away, causing the pen tip to slip and fall onto the table leg.

“What if I did fool you?”

Aria stared at her. “I remember everything–including the time you falsely accused me of stealing your bracelet and the scheme you orchestrated at that restaurant.”
