Chapter 37 

This was the only thing could do to prevent himself from Bob’s fists. 

However, Bob finally didn’t beat him and Darren only heard a sneer from Bob. 

So Darren raised his head and looked at Bob who was sitting on the table, supporting his arm with a cue, and looking at Darren 

narrowly. 

Darren had never seen Bob behaving like this before. In Darren’s mind, Bob had always been arrogant and he had never looked like this. Bob was so calm and there was even a trace of jealousy in his eyes. 

“What is he jealous of? Is he jealous of me?” Darren thought in surprise. 

Darren suddenly wanted to laugh because he couldn’t understand why someone would be jealousy of him. 

“You can leave now,” Bob nodded his chin. 

But Darren didn’t move. 

“What’s wrong with you?” Bob sneered, “Do you still want to stay here? Do you want me to beat you?” 

Darren looked at Bob seriously and asked, “Why do you let me go?” Darren didn’t believe that Bob would be so kind and just 

wanted to scare him. 

They were the children of powerful families, and Darren knew that Bob would not seriously injure him. Because in the end, their 

parents would solve the problem for them. 

It was a perfect chance for Bob to beat Darren but Bob didn’t, which made Darren confused. 

“Why didn’t you beat me?” Darren asked again. 

This obviously irritated Bob and he threw the billiard cue, stepped forward, and grabbed Darren’s collar. Bob clenched his fist tightly, wanting to punch Darren hard. But he controlled himself and didn’t do that. 

Seeing this, Darren was even more confused. 

“You are just lucky!” Bob released Darren and said in anger and jealousy. 

“What did Bob mean?” Darren frowned and thought. 

They were both from rich families and did whatever they wanted to do. Why did Bob say that Darren was lucky? Darren was 

very confused by Bob. 

Bob didn’t want to talk to Darren anymore and took out a simple small wooden box from his pocket. He threw it over and said to Darren, “Take it. This is good for your health.” 

Darren became more and more confused. 

“Lauren told me to give this to you,” Bob said with red eyes. He followed behind Lauren for several years, and even chose to study medicine for her. But Lauren was still cold and indifferent to him. 

“Why Lauren is so kind to Darren? Is it because he is her brother? Why did he get so much attention from her?” Bob thought in anger, sadness, and jealousy. 

“You’d better have a blood test,” Bob said angrily “Lauren said that since your childhood, you were fed medicine which could make it easy for you to become irritable. She was not sure whether there was a cure for this and she told you to restrain yourself when you lose your temper.”
