Sally sat quietly on the sofa with a calm face but she was still acting like she was worried about Lauren. She didn’t care whether 

Lauren was Herman’s mistress or not, because it was not easy for Lauren to deny it. 

If Lauren was Herman’s mistress, that would be the best result for Sally. But even if she was, the Bennett would not ask Herman 

in person if Lauren was his mistress. 

As long as Lauren was sitting in his car, she couldn’t deny that she had something to do with Herman. No matter what Lauren 

said, the Bennett family would not let her marry Sandy. 

After all, marriage could be a good way to connect two families. Sally also believed that if Grandpa called, Lauren would have to answer the phone. Sally guessed that Lauren might deny this or keep silent if Grandpa asked her about her relationship with Herman Anyway, Lauren had to come back and explain this in person. because Sally had been thinking about this for a long time. 

However, things did not happen as she thought. The person who answered the phone was not Lauren but Kelly. 

Kelly said with excitement. “Lauren is in the laboratory right now and she couldn’t come out to pick up the phone. Is it okay that 

she calls back later? Should I take a message for you?” 

Sally sneered silently. 

Mr. Bennett junior, who heard this, frowned and looked impatient, saying, “Father, let her call Lauren right now.” 

Mrs. Bennett senior ignored Mr. Bennett junior, but instead chatted with Kelly, “Are you Lauren’s assistant?” 

“Yes, my name is Kelly,” she introduced herself enthusiastically. 

Mr. Bennett senior smiled and said, “I once wanted to send Lauren an assistant. It’s great that you are with her right now.” Hearing this, Kelly was a little embarrassed and said, “I was sent to help Lauren by Mr. Shaw.” 

In fact, Kelly was not the best potential for Lauren’s assistant, but because she and Lauren were close in age, so Herman decide 

to let her be Lauren’s assistant.
