Myles, although usually a play boy, was no doubt a smart man.
After the silence, he asked, "You mean Neve's fans?"
Bonnie shushed him, "Lower your voice."
Myles arched his eyebrow, walked Bonnie into the room, closed the door before answering, "If Neve did instigate her fans to commit crimes, with evidence, she might be detained by police."
Bonnie's eyes lit up and she was about to say something.
But Myles continued, "But Neve's backing is the Lawrence Group, even if I can find evidence, she might not be detained, do you know what I mean?"
Bonnie was angry upon the mention of the Lawrence Group, "You think that scumbag can surpass the law?"
"In this industry, there are always men who could go beyond the law."
Bonnie was silent.
Because Myles was right, this was how the world was, with unknown darkness everywhere.
Although Bonnie hated Neve, she was somewhat scared of Zane.
She couldn't let Myles take the risks, or implicate the Hughes.
So, Bonnie didn't dig deeper, "Are you going to stay for lunch?"
Myles heard her invitation and immediately showed a big smile, "Yes."
"Go buy the groceries and you are cooking. Yanis's hurt and she can't have spicy food, be careful with that."
Then Bonnie stood up, "I have a design to finish. I'm going back to work."
Myles was out of words.
He was indeed the person who loved Myles the most in this world.
He was not only good at cooking, but everything that Bonnie liked in a man.
Myles had even learned design before.
Although eventually, he got into the Department of Architectural Science.
He was the designer of several buildings in Manches City.
Bonnie told Yanis that Myles would cook lunch and then went back to work.
Yanis lay down for a while and felt much less pain in her tailbone, so she got up and went downstairs.
Maybe because she had been lying there for too long, she felt dizzy in her head when she went downstairs.
Yanis looked at Bonnie, who was drawing and did not go in to disturb her. She went directly to the kitchen.
Several dishes were ready on the table, and Myles was still cooking.
"Oh, Chef Myles, you are getting better every day at cooking." Yanis looked at the food on the table and praised him.
After hearing Yanis's words, Myles turned around and looked outside. "Bonnie said you were hurt? Are you all right?"
Yanis nodded, "I've almost recovered. It's okay."
Myles said while cooking, "Bonnie has been busy designing recently. I can come over and take care of you for her."
"You don't have to. I'm fine now."
Myles pouted, "Another chance at pleasing Bonnie gone."
Yanis laughed at Myles's words, "I'll put in some good words for you."
Myles put the dishes on the dining table before he turned to say to Yanis, "Yanis, thank you."
"Thank her for what?"
Bonnie came in and heard it.
Myles stood straight, "Bonnie, there is only one more dish before we can have lunch."
After a simple conversation, Darin suddenly thought that Ivan told him Yanis was injured, "I heard Ivan say you were hurt? Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. It's not a big deal."
"That's good. We can contact again."
"Okay."
Hanging up the phone, Yanis put it down, got up to pour herself a cup of water and got Bonnie some water as well, "I thought you said all work has been finished?"
Bonnie took over the glass of water, drank it and handed the glass back to Yanis, "It's a last-minute order."
Yanis looked at Bonnie's design and suddenly had some inspiration.
After drinking the water, she put the glass aside, went back to her desk again and picked up the pen to draw.
It was a simple necklace, which matched the wedding dress Bonnie was designing.
After she finished the sketch, Darin sent her theme of the second round of the competition.
After reading it, Yanis had no idea, so she didn't make it a priority for now.
She put the phone aside and draw a few simple designs of rings.
Whenever she immersed herself in her passion, time always passed quickly.
Outside the window, the weather suddenly overcast with clouds.
It seemed a heavy rain was coming.
Yanis did not sit for long, she got up and walked around in the studio, talked with the girls here. Seeing the bad weather outside, she asked them to get off work early.
After they left, Yanis was going to close the door when she saw a familiar car parked at the door.
Yanis was stunned and came back to her senses when she saw a man get out of the car.
Zane got out of the car and walked up to Yanis. He said in a hoarse voice, "I thought you should be resting in bed? Why did you get out of bed?"
